Certified PACT PCF - Carbon Maps' PCF calculation methodology has been independently validated by TÜV Rheinland Group

Carbon Maps food-industry PCF solution provider has taken a step forward to have its calculation methodology independently validated by TÜV Rheinland against both the PACT Methodology V3 and the TfS PCF Guideline - a significant milestone for the broader PACT ecosystem. The validation, conducted under ISO 14064-3:2018, covers four product categories (Food & Beverages, Chemicals, Crops, and Fruits) and confirms that Carbon Maps' methodology is materially correct, consistently applied, and produces PACT-conformant, interoperable PCF data.
This matters for PACT's mission on two fronts. First, it sets a concrete precedent for other solution providers in PACT Network: independent third-party certification against PACT V3 is achievable, and Carbon Maps has demonstrated what that process looks like in practice. That path now exists for others to follow. Second, and equally important, it illustrates a viable business model for verifiers like TÜV Rheinland, one where accredited certification bodies play an active role in PACT's ecosystem, not just in individual PCF verifications, but in certifying the methodology platforms themselves.
This is exactly the kind of credibility we want to build together: solution providers distinguished by the quality and rigour of their certified methodologies, with independent verifiers playing a central role.
