PACT Methodology Officially Launched in Traditional Chinese
On August 28, BCSD Taiwan in collaboration with the Institute for Information Industry (III), successfully launched the PACT Pathfinder Framework 2.0 (now known as PACT Methodology) in Traditional Chinese.
Held at Center for Public and Business Administration Education (NCCU CPBAE)in Taipei, the event attracted nearly230 participants from businesses, suppliers, academia, and NGOs across the region.
The event featured a keynote video address underscoring the significance of this accomplishment, presented by PACT Director, Naama Avni-Kadosh.
The Traditional Chinese version of the PACT Pathfinder Framework 2.0 (or PACT Methodology) is a major milestone for PACT, enabling companies in the region to tackle Scope 3 emissions with a reliable method for calculating and sharing product carbon footprints. It helps businesses better understand their value chain emissions, improve data accuracy, and drive decarbonization. Many multinational companies are already implementing PACT, using its data-driven approach for strategic decisions to meet Paris Agreement goals.
The PACT Pathfinder Framework 2.0 (or PACT Methodology) is available for download in Traditional Chinese here. BCSD Taiwan will soon offer training and workshops to help companies apply the framework. Stay updated via the BCSD Taiwan website for additional information.
