Use Case Forum Working Group

The Use-Case Forum is a multi-stakeholder workstream inside PACT built around product-level carbon (PCF) data. It runs as a two-layer model:

• A quarterly overarching Forum (round-table sessions covering all workstreams)
• Live sub-fora tackling specific applications of PCF data, currently: PCF Usability Model and CBAM. New sub-groups may emerge per request.

Per the workstream's stated objective, the Forum exists to:

• Operationalise decision-led use of product-level carbon data - move beyond "we need better data first"
• Define when imperfect data is sufficient and when it isn't
• Provide guardrails on comparability and misuse of PCF data
• Prevent paralysis from methodological perfectionism
