Sustained Impact

Sustained Impact is an environmental intelligence platform for food and drink manufacturers. Each product is modelled from its ingredients, packaging, production steps and origins, and calculated against the EU Product Environmental Footprint method (all 16 impact categories, EF 3.1) and the GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2 and the product-relevant Scope 3 categories, IPCC AR6, biogenic and land-sector emissions reported separately). Every figure carries a computed data-quality rating and names the dataset behind it. Sustained is a PACT Conformant host system on Technical Specifications V3.0. A manufacturer publishes a product carbon footprint in the PACT data model, with fossil, land use change, land management and biogenic components, primary data share, data quality indicators and the reference period, and versions it as the specification asks: republishing deprecates the previous footprint and links the two.
