Scope and boundary

The current version of the guidance facilitates calculations using both cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave boundaries

Biogenic emissions and removals

The two guidance are not fully aligned yet, PACT has been adapted to reflect the forthcoming GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard. FEFCO includes a biogenic emissions and removals guidance and will align with the GHG Protocol in the next version

FEFCO is also waiting for the GHG Protocol FLAG guidance for forestry and forest products, which is relevant for their products, before updating their methodology
